 From its beginnings as a grassroots community initiative in 2003, the Waikato Health and Disability Expo has grown to become a successful annual event improving access to information and services, and raising awareness of health and disability issues.
In 2007 the Waikato Health and Disability Trust was formed to direct the future of this event, which is managed by a dedicated organizing committee made up of professionals from the not-for-profit and business sectors.
The event enjoys the support of like-minded organizations working for a healthier community including Waikato Primary Health, and the Ministry of Social Development.
