 From its beginnings as a grassroots community initiative in 2003, The Waikato Health & Disability Expo has grown to become a successful annual event improving access to information and services, and raising awareness of health and disability issues.
In 2007 The Waikato Health & Disability Trust was formed to direct the future of this event, which is managed by a dedicated organizing committee made up of professionals from the not-for-profit and business sectors.
The event enjoys the support of like-minded organisations working for a healthier community including the Hamilton City Council and the Ministry of Social Development.
